Usually in the rectification circuitry a lower voltage, no more than 100 VDC, is required. Depending on the LED lamp configuration, it can require up to 105ºC, with 10,000 hours of life. For these requirements Epcos can offer either a radial or snap-in aluminum electrolytic capacitor. The radial type is the most common solution for LED application, EPCOS offers two temperature classes, 85ºC and 105ºC. In the 85ºC class there is a compact version, B41002, with a height of 7mm, rated at 6.3 to 63 VDC, with a useful life of more than 1000 hours. The standard series, B41827, has a voltage offering of 6.3 to 100 VDC and a useful life of more than 2000 hours. Likewise in the 105 ºC class EPCOS has a compact version, B41022, with a height of 7mm and a voltage range of 6.3 to 63 VDC, with a useful life of more than 1000 hours. The standard series in the 105º class, B41828, has a voltage range of 6.3 to 100 VDC and a useful life of more than 2000 hourrs. In addition to this, EPCOS offers two series in which the useful life is much longer; B41044, with a voltage range of 6.3 to 100 VDC with useful life of more than 5000 hours, and B41888 with a voltage range of 10 to 63 VDC and a useful life more than 10,000 hours.
