Protektive Pak’s Impregnated Corrugated Material is manufactured from 100% recycled paper and is 100% recyclable making it a safer and better choice for the environment. It also has a consistently low sulfur content. Coated material uses recycled paper, virgin paper or a combination of both. The sulfur content may be low or high which can cause corrosion to leads and circuits. The Impregnated Corrugated Material meets ESD Associated Packaging Standard ANSI/ESD S541 recommendation avoiding rapid discharge when contacting ESD sensitive items, conductive coated boxes do not. It also meets shielding requirements of packaging standard ANSI/ESD S541 and dissipative resistance recommendation with a Static Dissipative surface (1 x 10⁶ to < 1 x 10⁹ ohms per ANSI/ESD STM11.11).
