One growth application for the 944L series is in high-power solar inverters used to produce AC power for a range of applications (in this example, a Level-2 EV charger). The direct current coming from the solar panels is converted to AC by the inverter. The 944L DC Link capacitors provide the bulk energy storage and ripple filtering needed in these high frequency switching applications.
