Shown here are the product series that are currently available along with the frequency ranges and the difference in intermateability between SV’s series of solderless coaxial edge launch PCB connectors. SV offers these solderless PCB edge launch connectors in their higher frequency series, SMA, 2.92mm, 2.4mm and 1.85mm series. The SMA series has a max frequency of 26.5GHz, the 2.92mm series has a max frequency of 40GHz, the 2.4mm series has a max frequency of 50GHz and the 1.85mm series has a max frequency of 67GHz. Additionally, the threads for the SMA and 2.92mm are 1/4-36 UNS-2A, so they can be mated together. However, the frequency would be limited to the lower frequency connector which in this case would be the 26.5GHz SMA series. On the other hand, the 2.4mm and the 1.85mm series both have M7 x 0.75-6g threads, so they can also be mated together, but again, the frequency range would be limited by the lower frequency 50GHz of the 2.4mm series.
