ABC Logic™ Operation

ABC Logic™ operates on a relatively simple principle. As the sensor collects the operational data about the environment it operates within, it extracts the background CO2 concentration information from this data. This information is then used to compensate for sensor drift, operating as an ongoing recalibration process. Depending on the geographic location, background CO2 concentrations are between 400 and 450 ppm. Sometimes variations of outside CO2 concentration are observed; however, these variations are generally of temporary or cyclic nature, mostly caused by vegetation and/or human activity. As a result, this acquired background concentration data can be used as a statistically-derived reference to compensate for drift in the CO2 sensor.
