MHF® 7S Connectors

I-PEX MHF 7S connectors provide excellent EMC performance with a fully shielded design which is ideal for 5G mmWave applications. This next-generation solution for 5G applications has a maximum 1.5 VSWR at 15 GHz in a small 2.0 mm x 2.0 mm footprint. I-PEX has developed a quantum leap in MHF technology to meet 5G requirements, and MHF® 4L has carried Wi-Fi signals across multiple industries. Current levels of radiated EMI have been tolerated for Wi-Fi; however, 5G signal transmission needs shielded solutions to facilitate emission compliance tests. MHF 7S incorporates design features that reduce radiated EMI compared to MHF 4L solutions. The addition of the MP-A clip and clamp to the MHF 7S harness provides an excellent MHF solution for EMC in today's market. 5G mmWave fixed wireless access and CPE devices require improved EMI performance over previous MHF technology solutions. Superior VSWR performance enables mmWave transmission from lower intermediate frequencies (IF). allowing 5G to connect users in new ways.
