Follow along with this video to build your own simple LED circuit. This is an ideal first soldering project, and you can use the resulting circuit to adorn your Halloween costume, plush toy, and more.
Supplies for this project:
- 3xAA or 3xAAA battery holder and batteries
- Switch (if your battery holder doesn’t have one already)
- LEDs, I'm using 10mm size
- Resistors (anywhere between 100 and 1K ohms should be fine)
- Heat shrink tubing
- Heat gun or lighter
- Soldering iron and solder
- Eye protection
- Wire strippers
- Flush cutters
- Helping hand tool
- Multimeter (optional but handy)
