3D Printing Arduino ESP32 XIAO
Decimal is a Wi-Fi-controlled robot I built for monitoring my surroundings, whether it's the floor, my desk, or any other area I'm in. My goal was to create a robot that could navigate these spaces while providing a live video feed from its perspective. Not only is this a fun project, but it's also incredibly practical.
I designed Decimal to resemble my other robot, Digit, with a matching color scheme and antennae to maintain a cohesive aesthetic. The design process was fairly quick, but I added some thoughtful features, like built-in magnets, to easily attach clothing or access internal components for troubleshooting.
Below, you’ll find the wiring diagram for the Xiao ESP32-CAM board.
To get the system running, you'll need to edit the code to include your own Wi-Fi credentials. Once connected, the robot will provide an IP address, allowing you to control it remotely and view its video feed.
You can find the code and STL files for this project here.
