Autonomous Vehicles and Battle Bots

DigiKey is sponsoring SparkFun’s 10th year of AVC (Autonomous Vehicle Competition) this coming Saturday & Sunday, September 8th & 9th at the Boulder County Fairgrounds, in Longmont, Colorado!

The fun begins on Saturday watching the autonomous vehicle’s find their way around the course where they will have to navigate past obstacles and try to finish without CRASHING into a hay bale!!

There will also be battle bots competing in a variety of classes ranging from 1 to 60 pounds where they will try to disable (DESTROY!!) the other bot in a set period of time. Check out the teaser video here.
