STMicroelectronics presents their SensorTileBox. This ready-to-use development kit is a wireless, multi-sensor platform designed to help users use and develop apps based on remote motion and environmental sensor data regardless of level of expertise. The smartphone ST BLE Sensor app connects via Bluetooth to the board and allows uses to immediately begin using the wide range of default IoT and wearable sensor applications. The compact board comes with numerous high-precision sensors including a 6-axis inertial measurement unit, 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis magnetometer, audio, temperature, pressure and humidity. The SensorTileBox includes a firmware programming and debugging interface that allows professionals to engage in more complex firmware code development. Applications include a sensor data logger, vibration monitoring, environmental monitoring, compass and inclinometer, and more.
