RL78/G23 Ultra Low-Power MCU | Datasheet Preview

Renesas' new RL78/G23 ultra low-power 16-bit MCU reflects the specific needs of IoT endpoints and other applications that require low-power operation. The RL78/G23 MCU consumes only 44μA/MHz for CPU operation and has the industry’s lowest power consumption with only 210nA at stop. RL78/G23 MCUs feature an operating voltage of 1.6 to 5.5 Volts, a range of package options from 30 to 128 pins, and up to 768 Kilobytes of flash memory. This Renesas MCU incorporates logic and event link controllers and the first capacitive touch sensing unit in the RL78 family. A rich development environment is available for the RL78/G23, including a fast prototyping board that allows writing and debug of programs with an easy-to-use GUI, by simply connecting a USB cable and a smart configurator.
