Pimoroni’s Picade is a Raspberry Pi-powered mini arcade that you build yourself! This ultimate desktop retro arcade machine comes with authentic arcade controls, a high-resolution four-by-three display that's ideal for retro gaming, and a punchy speaker to hear those 8-bit game soundtracks at their best. The cabinet, made from powder-coated MDF which gives it a quality look and feel similar to a full-size arcade, contains push-fit arcade buttons, a joystick, and a 3-inch speaker. The display, which is powered from your Pi through a micro-USB cable, features a Pimoroni-designed and manufactured HDMI display driver board and keypad controls. All that’s needed to complete this mini arcade is a Raspberry Pi, a power supply, a micro-SD card, and the downloadable RetroPie operating system.
