Pimoroni BBC micro:bit | Maker Minute
The BBC micro:bit, offered by Pimoroni, is a pocket-sized codable computer collaboratively created by the British Broadcasting Corporation as part of a technology education initiative. The bare-board micro controller has motion detection and a built-in compass and Bluetooth technology. It can be powered with a micro USB cable, or with 2 AAA 1.5 V batteries. It measures 4 cm by 5 cm, features 25 red LEDs that can display messages, includes two programmable buttons, and can be controlled via the micro:bit mobile app .
