Panasonic HE-N Series Relays | DigiKey Daily

Panasonic presents their HE-N series of high-capacity 120-amp single pole, single throw relays. They come with a normally open contact arrangement, have a high switching capacity of 120 amps at 480 volts AC or 55 amps at 800 volts AC, and can be mounted on a PC board without screw terminals. Offered in a compact size of 50 millimeters by 40 millimeters by 43 millimeters, these relays allow for easier design and low power consumption. Additionally, they feature a large contact gap of 3.6 millimeters, which is a requirement for solar inverter applications. As a result, this relay series is well suited for the solar industry trend of moving towards larger scale inverters to create more power generation and reduce costs.
