The Nordic Thingy:52 is a compact IoT development kit that doesn’t require you to develop any firmware or hardware while building prototypes and demos. The Thingy:52 is based on the nRF52832 Bluetooth® 5 SoC, and has multiple on-board sensors, including an accelerometer, gyro, compass, temperature, air quality, and color, as well as a microphone and speaker. It’s ideal for developing wearables, IoT sensors, hubs, and controllers, and sports and medical devices. Users configure the device and sensor functionality over-the-air via Bluetooth using the Android, iOS, or web app. The app also comes with built-in support for the IFTTT cloud service, allowing users to leverage sensor data to trigger actions on other services or devices.
