Molex's Cat 3 jacks are designed for equipment using standard Ethernet cable, while Cat 5 and 5e support hardware using Fast Ethernet technology. Some examples include network routers, patch panels, printers, gaming consoles and medical monitors. Sealed RJ45 jacks and plugs are ideal for use in industrial lighting and test equipment. Our cutting-edge Cat6a and magnetic jacks meet the latest high-speed performance requirements of 1 and 10 Gigabit data rates. For applications specifying Power over Ethernet, such as network switches and digital TVs, customers can select our PoE magnetic jacks that support the transmission of both data and power. New technology helps lower costs and achieves PCB space savings while simplifying the system design. Now customers can control power to connected Ethernet devices, such as color-screen Voice-over-IP phones, and security cameras. All jacks are available in right-angle to fit a variety of design needs, with either SMT or through-hole mounting, in single, ganged, or stacked multi-ports.
