Microchip MPLAB PICkit 4 | DigiKey Daily

Microchip’s MPLAB PICkit 4 allows faster and easier debugging and programming of PIC and dsPIC MCUs with a wider target voltage range than its predecessor. The PICkit 4 can be used with the MPLAB X IDE for debugging and programming. It’s low current draw allows it to be self-powered from the target, and it has a microSD card slot to support programming on-the-go. The device supports target voltages from 1.2 to 5.5 V and can supply up to 50 mA, and it matches the silicon clocking speed to automatically program as fast as the target allows. The 8-pin interface supports 4-wire JTAG and serial wire debug with streaming data gateway, and is backwards compatible with systems using 2-wire JTAG and ICSP.
