Makeblock’s mBot is an education robot for teaching STEM topics and experimenting with mechanics, electronics, control systems, and computer science. mBot is a two-wheeled robot that consists of the mCore main board, a pair of motors and wheels, ultrasonic and line-follower sensors, battery packs, and the chassis and it’s available with a Bluetooth or 2.4 GHz module for wireless communication. mBot is programmed using an intuitive, block-based programming environment for computers and mobile devices with multiple lessons and tutorials, making it easy for beginners and children to learn and develop with mBot. The mCore board is Arduino-compatible and has a USB port, light sensor, RGB LEDs, buzzer, and IR receiver and transmitter as well as 4 RJ25 ports for connecting additional hardware, such as servos, sensors, and displays.
