Inside the box, you’ll find the 3D35 3.5 inch LCD display with a serial cable for programming, a power cord, and several power adapters. The LCD display features a rugged protective cover lens with anti-glare etching and a 1,000 nits backlight with high contrast text and full color graphics for daylight readability. The 550 megahertz Cortex M7 embedded microprocessor is easily programmed using the TouchGFX drag and drop graphics software tool. In this demo, we’ll walk through the 3D35 display’s preloaded applications. First, connect the power and serial cable plug to the back of the display. Plug the power cable into your power supply. Now you can click through the applications for viewing a simulated cabin climate, dashboard with speedometer, RPMs and fuel gauge, vehicle lighting controls, and the CANbus and general purpose IO controls. For developing new applications, download the TouchGFX drag and drop software tool and connect the serial cable to your PC for fast and easy development.
