Sensata IWTT temperature and IWPT wireless pressure sensors | Datasheet Preview

Sensata’s wireless temperature and pressure sensors allow for a quicker, simplified installation than ‘traditional’ hard-wired systems. The IWTT temperature and IWPT pressure sensors have a wireless range up to 750 meters and can communicate with either a single-channel receiver or, for multi-measurement systems, up to five-channel receivers. The sensors offer a rich set of outputs and receiver clean contacts provide process alarm functions. Free configuration software is available for more complex systems. When used in conjunction with Sensata’s single or five-channel Industrial Wireless Receiver, these sensors become a plug-and-play solution for temperature and pressure measurement applications while offering the added benefit of remote monitoring. The IWTT temperature sensors use either J- or K-type thermocouples or 3-wire RTD sensors fitted to an acetal housing enabling performance in the harshest conditions. Compression fittings are available which allow the head to be orientated in the required direction. The IWPT uses a piezo-resistive ceramic sensor mounted within a stainless steel housing for excellent media compatibility. A swivel adapter is available which allows the head to be easily aligned to any range of IWR receivers. A line-of-sight range of up to 500 meters is possible for both sensors depending upon the wireless receiver used. Each device is temperature compensated, calibrated, and supplied with a traceable serial number. Configurable transmission rates allow the IWTT and IWPT to have an extended battery life of up to 5 years.
