The LTC4296-1 is a versatile five-port SPoE Power Sourcing Equipment controller designed for 24V or 54V systems. It delivers power efficiently using low RDS(ON) N-channel MOSFETs, reducing voltage drop and ensuring ruggedness. The LTC4296-1 simplifies system design and can integrate seamlessly with ADI's 10BASE-T1L transceiver portfolio, making it suitable for various applications. The LTC9111 serves as an IEEE 802.3cg-compliant SPoE Powered Device controller, featuring a wide operating range and polarity correction. Its SCCP-based classification minimizes power consumption by activating full voltage only when a valid PD is connected, while micropower operation reduces reservoir capacitor requirements during classification. An evaluation kit, EVAL-SPoE-KIT-AZ, includes both controllers for IEEE 802.3cg Class 10-15 SPoE power evaluation, with Ethernet data provided by ADIN1100 PHY. These devices are ideal solutions for operational technology, building automation, field instruments, security, and traffic control systems.
