The key features of the PAS capacitor are outlined on this slide. These features include: a charge and discharge capability with high power density; the output power density is approximately 10 times greater and the input power density 20 times greater than that of a lithium ion battery; it does not generate a chemical reaction, which differs from general secondary batteries resulting in more than 100 thousand charging/discharging cycles possible; and it does not need any special current-limited charging circuit or regulation when discharging.
