This tutorial will provide an overview of the L639x half-bridge gate driver family and the L6480 µstepping full-bridge gate driver. Beginning with a review of the typical motor topologies, the presentation will discuss half-bridge gate drivers and the current line up of solutions from ST. There will also be a discussion of the L6480 cSpin µStepping motor driver. Lastly, typical applications will be provided.
