Spectra Symbol produces four styles of membrane sensors, as shown on this slide: SoftPot, HotPot, ThinPot, and MagnetoPot. The membrane sensor was first introduced, followed by the SoftPot, and then by the other three styles of sensors. A combination of membrane switching technology and printed resistor technology is used in manufacturing the sensors.
