The X2Y® technology combines the usual X and Y capacitors found in low-frequency line filters into one leadless component, eliminating parasitic inductances. The effectiveness of the filter is dramatically improved at high frequencies as a result. SCHURTER is the first manufacturer to take advantage of the X2Y® technology in an AC EMI product application.
