This slide shows a comparison of eye patterns with HM headers and both HM and HSHM sockets. In this test, a generator injects a pulse in a test board across a mated pair of connectors to a receiver board. The results are captured on an oscilloscope. In the first set of results, a 5-row HM header and HM socket connector – the design commonly found in cPCI 2.16 and VME64x equipment – are tested.
