CAM-55G0/CAM-56G3/CAM-66GY Camera Promodules

STMicroelectronics CAM-55G0, CAM-56G3, and CAM-66GY promodules are a full range of sample camera modules made for a seamless evaluation and integration of the VD55G0, VD56G3, and VD66GY image sensors. These ready-to-use vision extensions integrate VD55G0 image sensor, lens holder, lens, and plug-and-play flex connection in a tiny format down to 5.0 mm or 6.5 mm square.

The VD55G0* is a global shutter image sensor with high BSI performance that captures up to 210 frames per second in a 644 x 604 resolution format. The pixel construction of this device minimizes crosstalk while enabling a high quantum efficiency (QE) in the near infrared spectrum.

The VD56G3* series of multiple-image sensors was developed by STMicroelectronics for professional and consumer vision applications. Leveraging state-of-the-art technologies developed by STMicroelectronics’ foundry, the sensor provides outstanding performance in visible and near infrared regions. Its clever design and complete toolbox of on-chip functions make it the ideal solution for designing tomorrow’s smart and optimized systems.

The VD66GY* is part of a complete series of image sensors developed by STMicroelectronics for professional and consumer vision applications. Leveraging state-of-the-art technologies developed by STMicroelectronics’ foundry, the sensor provides outstanding performance, enabling it to capture bright and sharp color images. With its clever design and complete toolbox of on-chip functions, it is the ideal solution for designing tomorrow’s smart and optimized systems.

CAM-55G0, CAM-56G3, and CAM-66GY promodules can be tested and integrated on computers or embedded processing boards using hardware and software tools from STMicroelectronics. The compatible EVK Main and P-Board hardware kits enable straight connection to PC and embedded processing platforms, respectively. Evaluation GUI software and Linux drivers are available for download from the Imaging Software section of the website.
