Siemens delivers strategies for future-proof automation solutions with its IP6X family of products
Siemens IP6X automation components can withstand all mechanical and environmental requirements. They are engineered to meet the IP67 and IP69K industry standards and are ideal for outdoor and harsh environments, offering complete protection against dust and water ingress.
SIMATIC ET 200 I/O components include options for in-cabinet, machine-mount, or hybrid applications. For the distributed I/O, components from the ET 200 series with IP6x ratings are ET 200pro, ET 200AL, ET 200eco PN, and ET 200clean. They communicate easily with higher-level controllers from Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 series or third-party controllers thanks to their flexible communication with Modbus TCP, PROFINET, EthernetIP, and IO-Link protocols.
For the display units, Siemens hygienic unified comfort panels are designed to withstand rigorous cleaning processes and harsh environments and are specifically optimized for hygienic applications such as in the food and beverage industry. Providing an IP69 rating, they can be mounted on the cabinet and are offered in six different screen sizes ranging from 7” to 22”.
