The onsemi NCV8450 fully protected high-side smart discrete device is designed to switch a variety of loads, including resistive, inductive, and capacitive types. This versatile driver operates within a 4 V to 45 V range and features a typical R_DS(on) of 1 Ω with an internal current limit of 0.8 A. The NCV8450 is equipped with advanced protection mechanisms such as short circuit protection, thermal shutdown with automatic restart, and overvoltage protection.
