1.8” and 1.91” Full-Color OLED Glass with Module Options

Newhaven Display International Inc.’s 1.8” and 1.91” full-color OLEDs bring additional interface options and increased resolution to the full-color OLED display line. The 1.8” and 1.91” full-color OLEDs are passive matrix displays that outperform traditional LCDs or VFDs when it comes to contrast, viewing angles, response time, and environmental temperatures. OLED displays are known for their low power consumption and have quickly found their place within the display industry.

The 1.8” and 1.91” full-color OLED displays are offered as either standalone glass or a complete module solution. The full-color glass options provide flexibility for developers to easily fit this display within their product application, whereas the full-color OLED module comes plug-and-play ready with its easy-to-connect PCB that has all the necessary components for programming the display. Both the 1.8” and 1.91” color OLEDs feature multi-level contrast and brightness adjustment, ensuring optimal viewing in various lighting conditions along with exceptional viewing angles.

These passive matrix displays deliver crisp, clear imagery against their rich black background. The 1.8” full-color OLED presents 262k colors with a resolution of 160 px x 128 px, and the 1.91” full-color OLED has 65k colors with a resolution of 176 px x 176 px, making these sizes the largest resolution within Newhaven Display’s full-color OLED display line. Additionally, the 1.8” and 1.91” full-color OLEDs were designed with engineers in mind when it comes to performance. The 1.8” display supports parallel and serial interfaces, and the 1.91” display supports parallel, serial, and I²C interfaces. In fact, the 1.91” full-color OLED display is the only full-color OLED display to have an I²C interface for added flexibility. These displays also have faster and smoother graphic animations because of their 10 µs response time.
