Genio 510 SoC

MediaTek Genio 510 MT8370 IoT application processors provide highly responsive Edge processing, advanced multimedia, multi-tasking OS, and more. Built using an ultra-efficient 6 nm process, this Edge AI platform incorporates a six-core (two 2.2 GHz Arm® Cortex®-A78 and four 2.0 GHz Arm Cortex-A55) CPU, Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, integrated NPU (AI processor), and DSP into a single chip. An HEVC encoding acceleration engine ensures video captured via connected cameras can be encoded at up to full HD resolution with minimum space used. The Genio 510 is designed for products suitable for fanless enclosure designs, off-grid power solutions, and low-power solutions.

The highly-capable octa-core application processor utilizes Arm DynamIQ™ technology by combining high-performance Cortex-A78 and power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores equipped with an Arm Neon™ engine. The application processor offers the necessary processing power to support the latest OpenOS, along with its demanding applications such as web browsing, email, and games. This content can be enhanced by the 2D/3D graphics accelerator (Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU) and then visualized on a high-resolution touchscreen display. To provide advanced multimedia applications and services such as streaming audio and video, the device features multi-standard video encoder and decoder engines and an advanced audio subsystem. The AI processor unit (APU) enables deep learning, neural network (NN) acceleration, and computer vision (CV) applications. The latter, combined with the up to 32 MP camera, can clearly and accurately perform AI-vision functions such as facial recognition, object identification, scene analysis, optical character recognition, and much more.
