MWB100 Series Power Supplies

Inventus Power's MWB100 series external switch mode power supplies meet current industry challenges to provide compact, lightweight power to increasingly powerful medical devices while offering reliable performance and meeting Class II (no earth) medical safety approvals. MWB100 power supplies are high efficiency units that offer converter efficiencies of 89% and a demonstrated mean time between failure exceeding 200,000 hours. OEMs are reducing product size by designing in external power supplies and the MWB100 power supplies are qualified solutions. Additionally, these power supplies offer Class II system protection. Class II inputs are commonly required in medical equipment, because the reliability of earth connections cannot be guaranteed in all of the locations portable devices may be used. With Class II systems, a grounded AC input socket is not required for normal operation.
