K50Z Series Multipoint Sensor

Banner Engineering K50Z series multipoint sensors detect targets reliably across a wide area. These sensors use 3D time-of-flight (ToF) technology with 64 measurement points to measure targets up to 2 m away. They are also able to detect irregularly shaped objects and can measure inconsistently placed items using two different measurement modes: nearest distance or average distance. The K50Z can be configured to measure two separate areas, effectively doing the work of two sensors in one convenient device. Three available output types, discrete, IO-Link, or PFM, allow for easy integration into different control systems. These sensors can be installed using Banner’s measurement sensor software or IO-Link for simplified setup while providing access to advanced diagnostics.
