California Residents' right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") certain activities of DigiKey (such as sharing online identifiers with third parties) may be considered a sale and California residents have the right to opt-out of having their personal information sold as defined by California law. The CCPA does recognize that certain transfers of personal information are not sales. For example, providing personal information to a "service provider" (as defined by CCPA) is not a "sale" under CCPA.

Opt out of Sharing Personal Information for Targeted Advertising

Under California law and certain other laws, consumers may opt out of sharing (or processing of) personal information for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising (also known as targeted advertising, as defined under applicable law).

How to opt out

You may opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information by completing this form. You may also submit your opt-out request by calling 855-820-1186 or opt-out through the use of cookies by blocking cookies on your browser and adjusting your mobile device privacy settings.

Use of Authorized Agents

You may submit a request using an authorized agent only if you provide the authorized agent with written permission to make a request for you. We may require that an authorized agent provide us with proof that it is authorized to act on your behalf.

Important

We identify your device with local storage so when you visit our site again, we can continue to honor your request. If you clear out local storage on your device, we have no way of identifying your device as having requested the opt-out right so you will need to resubmit your opt-out request. You should complete an opt-out request on each device and browser you use to access our site so we can associate the request with each device and browser.
