Company history
Bootlin was created in 2004 to support developers choosing free and open-source software to develop embedded systems. It quickly made a name for itself by freely sharing all its embedded Linux training materials, by contributing to open-source projects such as the Linux kernel, the U-Boot bootloader and the Buildroot build system, and by sharing its project experience through technical conferences.
