About

BitSim, is a leading design house in the development of advanced electronics for cameras/imaging detectors/sensors, data acquisition, and video/graphics. We help you to develop your camera, camera interface, network interface or other types of interfaces. The camera sensor might need a custom interface, or MIPI-CSI2, Camera link or just an SPI interface. Video is buffered on chip internal RAM or using external DDRx memory as well as Flash memory. To access the cloud or host computer, high speed internet access is needed. BitSim can feed Video streams via the RTP protocol on top of our IP UDP Ethernet IP Block in 1G or 10G speeds, all accelerated in HW.

Imaging systems used to be based on PCs. Expensive cameras connected with cables into an expensive frame grabber in a big computer box running Windows.

A new way has evolved in recent years: low cost embedded systems based on Linux, handling both the camera sensors and the image processing as well as the host/cloud communication, all this in small packages.

At BitSim we are doers. That means we handle the implementation part and get it to work: developing the hardware, translating an imaging design idea into algorithms, circuit boards, C/C++/Python code and accelerating functions in hardware based on powerful processing platforms including AI inference.
