In the fast growing EtherCAT market acontis technologies GmbH has achieved a leading position, we are well known as a highly competent EtherCAT specialist. At a very early stage we recognized the big potential behind this technology; today we provide a complete portfolio of EtherCAT products to our customers.

World leading companies in the Industrial Automation, Medical, Semiconductor and other markets are using our sophisticated EtherCAT master stack solution. We are the perfect partner for customers who want to use the EtherCAT technology in their products, on the master part, on the tools part as well as on the slave part.

Acontis also offers porting and adaptation services to customer specific hard- and software platforms. The EC-Master EtherCAT master stack is designed and optimized to run on various embedded (real time) operating systems. Already existing implementations are available Linux (with and without Real-Time), Windows® 7/8/10, VxWorks, QNX, RTX, INtime®, Integrity, Xenomai, On Time RTOS-32, RTEMS, FreeRTOS, eCos, TI-RTOS, T-Kernel and more operating systems. The EtherCAT master stack can easily be ported on any other embedded operating systems and even runs on bare metal systems. Besides these software platforms a vast number of different hardware platforms are supported as well: Intel or AMD x86 CPUs, SoCs from NXP, TI, Renesas or STMicro.
