用重型加长电缆降低电压降

在使用带有加长线（通常为 50 英尺或更长）的设备时，由于电力传输距离较长，电压降成为一个令人担忧的问题。对于功率较低或负载较轻的设备来说，这个问题通常可以忽略不计，但对于负载较重的设备来说，这个问题就会变得更加明显。

为降低压降，交流连接器已设计出 采用 12 号导线的重型电缆（通常用于 20 A 应用）和采用 10 号导线的超重型电缆（通常用于 30 A应用）。尽管这些电缆结构坚固，但旨在用于日常家庭使用，最大电流限制为 15 A。
