The MiWi Demo Kit enables developers to evaluate and experiment with 2.4 GHz, 868 MHz and 915 MHz RF solutions from Microchip. The MiWi Demo Kit contains two hardware nodes (MiWi Demo Boards) which can be used to create a simple two node MiWi wireless network. More hardware nodes to the same network can be added by purchasing additional MiWi Demo Kits or individual components.
The MiWi Demo Kit is pre-programmed with a demo program that allows users to setup a MiWi network easily. For more information on how to run the preprogrammed demo program and how to extend the network, refer to Chapter 3.“Getting Started” in the “MiWi Demo Kit User’s Guide” (DS70687A)
The Microchip wireless stacks, additional application demo source codes and the MiWi Demo Board software and firmware updates can be downloaded from the Microchip web site: http://www.microchip.com/MiWi. Developers can reprogram or modify the PIC18 MCU Flash memory and develop and debug application code all on the same platform.
