Omron 2JCIE Sensor Evaluation Board | DigiKey Daily

Omron offers their 2JCIE sensor evaluation board, which can assist in the development of sensing IoT applications. This device comes with six types of built-in sensing functions: temperature, light, barometric pressure, humidity, noise, and acceleration. Also, the board can connect to other Omron sensors, including thermal IR sensors, flow sensors, the air quality sensor, and the light convergent reflective sensor. And for quickly and easily evaluating sensors, three different evaluation boards are available for connecting to Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and Adafruit’s Feather. Examples of source code, for acquiring sensor data, are available on GitHub. Applications include the monitoring of living and office spaces, heatstroke prevention, sleep quality, the detection of changes in weather conditions, UV intensity alert, and many more.
