Image of onsemi's CAT25128: High-Reliability Serial EEPROM with 128 Kb Capacity onsemi's CAT25128 is a 128 Kb serial CMOS EEPROM internally organized as 16 K x 8 bits. It features a 64 byte page write buffer and supports the serial peripheral interface (SPI) protocol. The device is enabled through a chip select (CS) input. Additionally, the required bus signals include clock input (SCK), data input (SI), and data output (SO) lines. The HOLD input can be used to pause any serial communication with the CAT25128 device. The EEPROM also offers software and hardware write protection, including partial and full array protection. Its on-chip error correction code (ECC) makes it suitable for high-reliability applications.
