Today I'm taking a look inside the Muse S meditation headband. This brainwave-sensing device uses conductive fabric sensors to track your brain activity, and that biometric data informs the app's meditation and sleep programs. The folks at Lumafield were kind enough to scan the Muse before I took it apart, so we can look at the inside of the device through digital imaging as well as under a microscope. Thanks to David Cranor for lending his electrical engineering expertise.
