XP Power IMM05 Series DC/DC Converters | DigiKey Daily

XP Power presents their IMM05 series of 5-watt medical DC-to-DC converters. Offered in a SIP-9 package, they occupy 65 percent less PCB area than competing products and have an excellent power density of 28 watts per cubic inch. Their very low 2 microamp leakage current makes them ideal for medical BF and CF applications. A variety of models are available with three input voltage ranges covering 4.5 to 9 volts, 9 to 18 volts, and 18 to 36 volts. There are four single-output models available of 3.3, 5, 12, and 15 volts, and two dual-output models of plus-and-minus 12 volts and plus-and-minus 15 volts. These converters are suitable for healthcare applications including instrumentation, diagnostics, and distributed power architectures where medical approval is required.
