Electronic Brake for Inline Skates – Potentially Genius ™ | DigiKey
Tomorrow Lab is a New York City-based invention studio that has developed and launched new physical technology products for clients like Google, P&G, Lyft, CitiBike, NatGeo, and Hasbro. Being a busy studio, they rarely get to work on their own—or their friend’s—potentially genius ideas. That’s about to change! In each episode we watch as the Tomorrow Lab team has just 16 hours of studio time to make a potentially genius idea into a genius—or potentially genius—thing. Watch the team race against the clock to generate sketches, schematics, and prototypes while leveraging DigiKey’s massive electronic component selection to inspire and help prototype! In this episode, Tomorrow Lab’s friend — filmmaker and musician, Sean Michael Pheanis — brings an idea inspired by his inline skating adventures around New York City. Sean wants a better braking system for his skates so he can bomb hills and safely dodge rogue pedestrians and bikers. So the team at Tomorrow Lab set out to invent a solution.
