Alveo™ is a family of adaptable accelerator cards for dynamic data center workloads. They are fast, offering up to ninety times higher performance than CPUs on key workloads at one-third the cost. They are capable of over four times higher inference throughput and three times latency advantage over GPU-based solutions. Reconfigurable hardware allows the customer to adapt faster to evolving algorithms and changing workloads than fixed-function accelerator cards. The customer can use Alveo cards to deploy solutions in the cloud or on-premises interchangeably, giving flexibility. There are over 150 applications and libraries available for common workloads to reduce the development time. AMD enables developers with the Vitis Unified Software Platform, which is a complete IDE for developing, profiling, and debugging accelerated applications, with support for RTL, C/C++, and OpenCL languages for accelerator function development.
