To kick start development a number of hardware and software development resources have been made available. A low cost Launchpad development board, based on the MSP430FR5994 MCU and featuring an integrated eZ-FET programmer and debugger, expandable headers and an SD card interface. A zero insertion force equipped target socket board is available for purchase either as a stand alone item, or as a bundle with the MSP-FET debug and programming interface. Two primary Integrated Development Environments are available, TI’s Code Composer Studio and the IAR Embedded Workbench, support within the Energia development environment will be available in the coming months.
