Shown on this slide is a quick snapshot of the Scan I/F, an interface that supports different sensors. It can take up to four different inputs for a measurement and there is a PSM module that interprets the results. Additionally, there is a timing module that defines the measurement timing. The Scan I/F can support LC sensors, magnetic sensors, or GMR sensors as shown on the right.
