The MSP430 eMeter roadmap and portfolio is illustrated in this figure. On the X-axis is time, on the Y-axis is integration. In the lower-left corner is a low end single-phase meter with ESP, which means it is a low cost, one-phase eMeter that customers can purchase and implement easily and quickly. The next step is single-phase with anti-tamper, then two-phase, three-phase, and three-phase with anti-tamper. Information regarding these products is available at www.ti.com/metering. In the red circles are two different products that are going to be released in the future. These are the new generation single-phase F67xx which is based on the MSP435xx platform, and a low cost metrology AFE which is a high accuracy analog front-end for applications such as sub-metering or as an analog front-end.
