Unlike CCV, the SEAT design tool forces users to individually gather the data of interest. For the ceramic capacitor example above, DC-Bias, Capacitance, Impedance, ESL, and ESR versus Frequency, Temperature Characteristics, and Ripple Current data are quickly obtained for TDKs C3225X7S1H106K part number through the SEAT design tool giving it more functionality than CCV. Users can copy the graphs or the forms to include the TDK-Parts-Number for reference. SEAT also allows for the user to export the data and compare multiple components.
