The “CGA series” is available not only for automotive applications, but also applications that require higher reliability. The diagram shown here is an example of the electronic circuit on an AC/DC Battery Charger. Since the CGA series has an extensive cap range and voltage ratings, it is able to support the various requirements of this application. This will present opportunities to replace other capacitor technologies such as tantalum as well.
